Kathryn L. Kalafut Ph.D., BCBA

Assistant Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis
Behavioral Consultant
email: kkalafut@gmail.com
As a behavioral scientist, I am interested in both applied and experimental work. My experimental work deals primarily in the areas of decision making, behavioral timing, and stimulus control. My applied research utilizes the principles of behavior to ask questions about how we can build the most effective environments to support and maintain constructive behavior.

As a consultant I pair current advances in technology with the science of behavior to enhance animal welfare. In all of my endeavors I stress the importance of using empirically validated techniques and data to drive decision making.
